Providing light for an open space with 44 individual work stations without altering the cement modular structure: this was& the aim of the activity designed by Caterina Tiazzoldi for Toolbox, a co-working centre created in an industrial building in Turin. The latest-generation FILE lighting fixtures, featuring a minimalist design and available in a version for hanging from the ceiling and a flush-mounted version, were used to light the various areas (the main work area, the corridors and the functional areas with communal services, meeting rooms, press rooms, areas for informal meetings, mailboxes, patio and kitchen). Thanks to the use of electronic dimmers, it was possible to gauge the level of lighting and enable greater savings on electricity.
