IRIDE, a new way “to see” the light

Bologna, May the 3rd 2021 – “Iride is a family of projectors that are a metaphor for our eye and for the sensitivity we have towards light, an essential element and beating heart of every environment”

From the encounter between Lucifero’s lighting know-how and Mario Cucinella’s design experience, a lighting fixtures’ family with minimal and refined design is born seeking greater functionality and versatility of the light emitted into space.

Iride is the result of a study on the human eye, our natural camera, in which the iris and diaphragm have the function of regulating the amount of the ingoing light into the eye or lens.
Thus the idea of a projector inspired by the world of photography was born, whose aesthetics can be traced back to the design of the adjustment dials found in all cameras.

Iride has been designed to adapt to all environments thanks to the multiple combination of colors and finishes available, which make it a unique and very versatile product.

Its essential design fits into all contexts to satisfy the most disparate lighting needs.
The collection consists of different sizes and elements. The die-cast body is customizable and available on request in different colors to match the snooter in chrome, black and bronze finish. The range is completed by many accessories and filters that enrich and enhance the lighting engineering possibilities of the product. The “backlight” effect generates an adjustable emission that guarantees greater visual comfort and anti-glare.

Iride is available in two different fixing methods: track version, on three-phase electrified tracks or with circular base sourface mounted; the latter solution offers various adjustment possibilities thanks to the movement on a double axis of rotation.
The track projectors are available in two finishes: black and white; while the surface mounted model is available in multiple colors for greater customization.

Designed for different uses, it is suitable both for indoors and outdoors environments.
Born from the collaboration among Mario Cucinella and Lucifero’s, it is an innovative family of projectors that makes its entry into the Made in Italy design panorama.
